Version history |
Thorium Mod 1.6.5.0 served to fix a large variety of long-standing bugs involving multiplayer, the Healer class, bosses, teleporters, and other miscellaneous content. Additionally, the update served to resprite, rework, or touch up a large amount of items, as well as add various new vanity items and music tracks.

Balance[ | ]
- Rebalanced Master's Libram by reducing Crystal Storm damage by 20% and Golden Shower damage by 40%, but Golden Shower now shoots two more streams.
- Rebalanced Serpent's Bubble Wand to grant 1 Life Recovery for the duration instead of increasing healing received.
- Rebalanced Dragon armor set bonus by nerfing its damage from 50% to 25% and its activation chance from 25% to 20%, but now its damage does not trigger enemy invincibility frames and stacks per burst.
- Rebalanced Head Mirror and Medical Bag to increase healing done by 1 at all times instead of increasing healing received for the lowest ally.
- Rebalanced Support Sash to increase healing done by 1 for 30 seconds after using a potion instead of increasing allies' healing received.
- Rebalanced Dream Eater by increasing its max health from 75000 / 150000 to 80000 / 160000 but removed the health of its orbiting spirits.
- Buffed Terra Bow damage from 60 to 62.
- Buffed The Javelin damage from 450 to 650 and blast radius greatly.
- Buffed all Sawblade knockback from 1 to 3 and velocity from 0 to 5.
- Buffed Enchanted Staff mana recovery from 15 over 3 seconds to 20 over 4 seconds.
- Buffed Obsidian Staff full power casting speed from 1.5 seconds to 1 second.
- Buffed Valadium Staff mana cost from 30 to 20 and pulse damage from 50% to 100%.
- Buffed Hydromancer's Catalyst damage from 28 to 30, and attack frequency from once every 10 ticks to once every 8 ticks.
- Buffed Weed Eater damage from 24 to 28.
- Buffed Omen damage loss per hit from 20% to 10%, and Shadowflame duration from 1 second to 3 seconds.
- Buffed Holy Fire by removing its invincibility frame immunity, but nerfed its use time from 24 to 26.
- Buffed Dark Contagion initial projectile penetration from 1 to 4, but reduced its damage from 32 to 30 and use time from 30 to 36.
- Buffed Mjölnir use time from 14 to 10.
- Buffed Bent Zombie Arm use time from 24 to 18.
- Buffed Steel Drum, Jelly Pond Wand, Giant Glowstick, and Sparking Jelly Ball by making their attacks ignore water physics.
- Buffed Darksteel Pickaxe, Granite Pickaxe, and Bronze Pax pickaxe power from 90%/95%/85% to 100%, making them able to mine Cobalt and Palladium Ore.
- Buffed Cure debuff protection duration from 2 seconds to 5 seconds, added Destabilized immunity to it’s list, and it now grants 2 Life Recovery for the duration.
- Buffed Sentinel's Wand use time from 30 to 24 and granted it auto-use.
- Buffed Null-Zone Staff, Dragon Heart Wand, and Life Pulse Staff aura durations from 15/20/20 seconds to 30 seconds.
- Buffed Pacifist Necklace bonus healing from 1 to 2.
- Buffed Medical Bag Life Recovery rate from 1 to 2.
- Buffed Potion Chaser bonus health potion healing from 15 to 25.
- Buffed Karmic Holder lingering buff duration from 3 seconds to 10 seconds.
- Buffed Technique - Soul Pulse pushback duration by 100% and confusion duration by 33%.
- Buffed Insanity by making it decrease enemy movement speed by 10%.
- Buffed Developer item drop chances from Thorium Treasure Bags from 3.2% to 5.6%.
- Buffed Gold Squirrel Sinister Acorn drop rate from 10% to 100%.
- Buffed Blood Drop Blood drop rate from 5% to 100%.
- Buffed Space Slime, U.F.O., and Globee spawn rates.
- Buffed Gelatinous Cube by allowing them to spawn up to 5 Sludges each instead of only 5 globally.
- Buffed The Lich health from 18500 / 32000 to 25000 / 40000, attacks faster when health is lower, and now follows the target player more quickly if they are noticeably far away.
- Buffed The Primordials health scaling in expert mode and now all follow the target player more quickly if they are noticeably far away.
- Buffed Omnicide by making him faster and now applies Moon Bite to all nearby players while he is the active primordial.
- Nerfed Eye of Odin damage from 52 to 44, attack frequency from 2/sec to 1/sec, and enemy chain amount from 8 to 5.
- Nerfed Demon Blood armor damage reduction from 15% to 10% and critical strike chance from 10% to 0%.
- Nerfed Big Instrument mistime damage from 0% less damage to 75% less damage.
- Nerfed Life Surge Staff use time from 18 to 24.
- Nerfed Pocket Guardian use time from 12 to 14.
- Nerfed Prydwen self heal from 5 life per heal to 4 life per heal.
- Nerfed Void Planter healing from 50% to 5% per bonus healing, capping at 50%.
- Nerfed Prehistoric Arachnid and Crystal Scorpion by making their flat damage increase effects not stack with one another, attack rate from 3/sec to 1/sec but its duration from 2 seconds to 3 seconds, and reduced the amount of ‘Sap Spiders’ that can spawn from 5 to 3.
- Nerfed Terrarium Defender debuff immunity list to not include immunities to effects outside of it’s crafted components with the exception of Stoned and Frozen.
- Nerfed Crystal Wave spawn rate slightly.
