Hags are rare enemies which can be found in their corresponding biomes after the player has defeated the Eater of Worlds or Brain of Cthulhu. They do not have any unique drops, but killing a Hag will complete the "Haggard Hagglers" contract, unlocking the Totem Caller in the Tracker's shop.
They are one of the few entities that can be detected by the Lifeform Analyzer or its upgrades, with a rarity of 1.
Variants[ | ]
Each Hag has a different attack pattern depending on the biome they spawned in.
Red Hags will lob piercing fire balls at the player that bounce off tiles; green Hags will spawn thorns on each side of the player that inflict the Poisoned debuff; blue Hags will spawn a water globule above the player that explodes into toxic water droplets that fall within a short range; cyan Hags will spawn a tornado on the player's position knocking them into the air.
All Hags will teleport to a new nearby location after some time, but unlike other caster enemies they won't teleport immediately after being hit.
