The Impact Drill is a drill that is sold by the Blacksmith after defeating Plantera. It emits particles when used. It is unique from other drills in that it can fire drill head projectiles by right-clicking; these drill heads can deal area of effect damage to enemies and also destroy tiles upon impact with approximately the radius of a Bomb. While the normal drill function can mine blocks up to 
Chlorophyte Ore, the drill head projectiles can only destroy tiles that are not explosion-proof.
